Welcome to the web site of Nigel Gray

I live with my wife, Yasmin, in Kalamunda, a small town in the hills outside Perth, the capital of Western Australia.

I live in a weatherboard and iron pole house that I designed and helped build. It sits on a hillside in a little valley. I never ever felt at home before I came to Australia. I love it here.

Yasmin and I share the house with one mongrel. This is not a reference to our son, Sam, but to our golden retriever X, Chica. Sam hasn't left home yet, but he is off travelling in faraway places. Which is the best education anyone can have.

I get to work at home, to swim in the pool, to play tennis a couple of times a week, to walk the dog, to muck around in the garden, to read books, to go out to movies, to visit and entertain friends. I'm a very lucky man. When I was a child and then a young adult and life was painful and bleak, I never imagined life could be this good.

In these pages you will find lists of books I have written. Some of them can be ordered from good bookshops and libraries. But some books are only available in this country or that. And books, of course, go out of print. If you wanted to buy one of the books and it was unobtainable, you could contact me to see whether I had a copy for sale.
